HOW WE WORK
Building is the small part. Finding where it pays is the job.
Every owner has heard the pitch. Few have seen where it would earn its keep in their own week.
6 departments, 1 pattern
The work nobody wants to do turns up in every part of a firm.
- Sales: quotes promised by Friday and sent the next Wednesday.
- Finance: 300 bank lines matched by hand, after the month ends.
- Operations: 200 open orders, each chased by phone.
- HR: licenses tracked in a folder nobody opens.
- Customer service: the same 2-minute question, 30 times a day.
- Marketing: a monthly report rebuilt from 4 exports.
It shows up in distribution, manufacturing and construction. It shows up in staffing, accounting, insurance and wealth management too.
We count where the hours go
We map how work moves today: who asks, where it sits, who chases.
We follow 2 or 3 chains from start to finish. An order to a delivery. A bank line to a closed month. A client email to a reply.
Each chain stalls in 1 place, usually where a person reads, matches or chases by hand. That's where we look first.
Most firms begin with 1 department and 1 process: the one costing the most hours.
5 kinds of work it does well
It earns its place on work with lots of reading and clear rules:
- reading a pile of email and picking out the few that need a person;
- matching a line, an invoice or a receipt to what was expected;
- noticing a promised date and remembering it;
- drafting a first chase or reply for a person to approve;
- spotting when a pattern breaks, and calling it "worth a look".
Any good assistant could do all 5, given the hours. Hours are the constraint, and that's where it pays.
5 kinds of work it doesn't
- Judgment calls that should stay with you.
- A process that already works.
- A gap that 1 policy or 1 hire would close.
- Work done 3 times a month, not 300.
- Records in no state to be read yet.
We'll tell you when AI is the wrong answer. The fix may be a checklist, a named owner or software you already pay for. Saying so costs you nothing. Building the wrong thing would.
It reads and warns. People act.
Everything we build stops at a draft. A person says yes before a message, payment or change goes out.
A doubtful line gets marked "worth a look", and that's where it stops. Acting in your name is off the table.
The first conversation: about 60 minutes, free
You meet one of our co-founders, who walks you through it in detail.
- Zero access. We don't ask to see your systems or your mail.
- Zero preparation. No documents to send first.
- Your whole list. Come with 1 problem or 10.
- Your week, in your words. Where work waits, who chases, what lands on you late.
- Names at the end. The 2 or 3 worth solving, in plain words. And the ones that aren't.
The hour ends without a pitch. A list with nothing worth building gets told so. Otherwise, you pick the next step.
Where you end up
You use AI where it counts and ignore the rest. Your people spend their week on the work that needs them.
One hour. Zero access. Your whole list.
The first conversation is free, runs about 60 minutes and needs nothing from your systems.
A person replies, usually within 1 working day.
